It was crazy beautiful honor it was to capture this day. This wasn’t their first plan for a wedding, or even their second, yet as I photographed Hannah getting ready in her childhood home surrounded by art created by her grandpa and the familiar sounds of her mom working in the kitchen, it felt like it was always meant to be. Only twelve people could witness their vows while the rest of Hannah and Parker’s people watched virtually. It wasn’t their plan. But hearing about the cheers coming from the Zoom room, the grateful tears from the family that could be there, and the fact that they could spend hours with their guests at dinner, and even change into sweats before the night was over, made it feel okay. Better than okay. It was the best day because they are finally married and that’s what it is all about.
Love you both and congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Shea!
