Ambre and Kyle • Loloma Lodge Oregon Wedding

I have officially kept this wedding to myself for FAR too long. Ambre and Kyle’s Destination Wedding in Oregon was an absolute dream, and I can’t wait for you to see all of the photos from our weekend together.

There are so many aspects of this wedding that I want to share, but I’m going to try to keep it short and sweet. Ambre is my oldest friend. We met in preschool and have remained close ever since. So when she asked me to photograph her wedding, it was one of the biggest honors I’ve had in my career as a photographer.

For the months leading up to it, Ambre and Kyle would describe their wedding as a colorful, bohemian, 70s-inspired escape to their favorite place: Eugene, Oregon. I feel like their description just about covers the theme, but what I never expected was the pure magic we would encounter. Ambre and Kyle are endlessly kind, generous, and just the kind of people you want to be around as often as possible. They brought their energy to their wedding and created a weekend that their guest will never forget. Even the trees celebrated when they said their vows, raining down pine leaves on top of everyone as we sat in the middle of the forest. The entire weekend was filled with hikes, diving into the freezing river, and coffee (lots of coffee). Every meal was perfectly planned and the reception was decorated with funky table lines and vintage goblets (and more pine needles). The dance floor was insane in the best possible way and by time time the last morning arrived everyone was very tired, and very very sad to leave.
