These two were such a giggle fest at their engagement session that I just couldn’t wait until their Verandas Beach House wedding. When the day arrived, everything felt so calm. The kind of calm where two people have been together forever and everyone around them has been patiently waiting for this moment to arrive. I asked Sara how she was feeling a few times and she would break into the biggest smile and say “EXCITED!” That became the theme of the day. Brandon was so excited to see her, they were so excited for the “I Dos”, excited to escape the crowd and spend some time alone together during their portraits, and then practically bursting with excitement when they entered the reception to all of their friends and family screaming and cheering!
A few of my favorite moments of the day…
Sara’s dad slamming the door when he saw her in her wedding dress because he burst into tears!! We all were laughing so hard!
Brandon’s face as Sara walked down the aisle and her dad handed her over. You have to scroll to see this one!
and then sticking the two of them into a random tree on the edge of the Verandas property and cracking up while taking the Bride and Groom Portraits. (Even the most unusual locations can be so beautiful with the right light!) As we were walking back to the party they kept telling me how this had been their favorite part of the day <3
Sara and Brandon, thank you for trusting me to be your photographer! I love the two of you and had the best time celebrating you… I accidentally stayed almost an hour late because I was having so much fun and the music was awesome 😉 Congrats you sweet newlyweds!!!!
