I am SOOO excited to share these photos I am not even sure where to start…
Earlier this year I started teaching photography classes and stumbled across a beautiful venue in Hermosa Beach to host them. From the moment I first toured Life Lab, I began picturing all the photos I wanted to take there. Specifically, I was dreaming about a shoot that would celebrate motherhood in all its messy beauty… an honest portrait that would freeze this moment of childhood… a goal of somehow containing the joy of being a mama within the confides of a photograph.
This idea ran though my head every time I walked through those doors. Then one day I learned this space would be closing in a matter of weeks, so suddenly it was now or never! I shared my vision for “Motherhood Mini Sessions” on social media and had so many mamas wanting to reserve a spot; I ended up with the four sweetest families in front of my camera last Sunday.
For the shoot I put together some wardrobe pieces and flower crows for the mamas and their littles. My friend Lauren provided makeup & my friend Hannah baked us some sweet treats!
