I first met Laura early in my photography career when I begged her to let me borrow some of her beautiful vintage goods for a photo shoot. She owns the cutest event rental company called Dish Wish and let me just plug her real quick and say that every bride needs a little Dish Wish at their wedding!!! Anyways, that first time I met her she let me explore her studio and take whatever I like, even insisting I keep a blanket I was obsessing over. Naturally I became her biggest fan.
Over the next few years we stayed in touch, as we both got married, and then had babies last year. Laura is the sweetest person and always so full of encouragement! She has cheered on my business from the start and I always hoped one day I would get her in front of my camera. Earlier this year she mentioned she would love photos of her family in their home once it was done. With her incredible passion for design I’m not sure she will ever consider it “done” (haha!) but I’m SO glad I was able to come by last week to take these! Her sweet girl is now 6 months old and it was the perfect afternoon together in their little El Segundo Bungalow <3
This is a dress Laura used to put on her dolls. How sweet is that?!?
