Amy and David • Redondo Beach Marina Engagement Session

January 23, 2015

On a casual outing with friends Amy was introduced to David Happy. He was tall, handsome, and had a smile that meshed perfectly with his name. Amy spent the night talking to him but didn’t let the thought of dating him cross her mind. She was busy enjoying single life and was far from interested in a serious relationship. David, on the other hand, was immediately smitten. Smitten and determined. In fact, he spent the next two years asking her to go on a date with him. With each excuse and rejection David would smile and know that someday he would get her because she was worth the wait.

One evening she announced her recent break up and David decided to ask her out “for the last time.” Lucky this time worked. Within 4 months they were living together and a year later they found out they were expecting their sweet baby girl Madi. He knew he wanted to marry her from the beginning but now he could finally ask. After a late night of celebrating his birthday, David suggested they play a game of monopoly. Reluctantly Amy agreed and he let her pick her game piece first. Immediately she thought “duh! the diamond ring!” but them remembered there was no diamond ring game piece. He smiled and placed the ring on her finger, asking his best friend if she would be his wife. Of course she said yes! Now they are planning a fun camping themed wedding for this June and I cannot wait to be a part of it! Congratulations you two 🙂
