Last week I went on a family vacation to New York City. It was so fun to get away for a little while and the first day of our vacation also happened to be my 21st birthday! I think the best part of the vacation was seeing so many historic things (One World Trade Center, Rockefeller Center, American History Museum, Times Square, the “famous” Macy’s 4th of July fireworks show…). And the food was AMAZE.
I just wanted to share a few snap shots from the trip on the ONE day that I brought my real camera with me (yeah.) and an iPhone collage too of course!
By the end of the first day of the trip I realized something: I am NOT a city girl. The dangerous streets made me anxious, I was constantly worried about the millions of people around me, it was horribly hot and humid , and everyone was so angry there! I’ve always wondered about many different “what ifs” about my future and living in New York is one I can definitely cross off… no offense to anyone that lives there or loved vacationing there- more power to you! All I know is that by the end of the trip I felt like I needed a vacation from my vacation, and I was oh-so happy to come back home to this furry face.
