You know that feeling the night before Christmas where you wish the morning would hurry up and come, but at the same time want everything to slow down because its so perfect? Thats kind of like what this past year has been like. I have been so happy and so blessed beginning this photography business that even during the slow weeks I have tried to tell myself to sit back and enjoy this. My one year business anniversary is coming up on March 1st, and I want to set some goals for myself. I will blog more about that when that time comes…
One of those goals was building a new website in the beginning of 2013- AND I DID IT! I love this site and I love everyone that helped me review it 10,000 times or just provided words of encouragement. It was a dream of mine to have a blog like this where I can share and grow, and fail and get back up all over again. I don’t know where this next step of my journey will take me but what I do know is that I want to document every moment of it.
I thought the most appropriate post for this new blog would be to share about one of my latest adventures. One of my best friends from high school and her boyfriend (Hi, Monica and Steve!) came out to visit Sam and I in Flagstaff a couple of weeks ago. It was literally a dream come true because I’ve wanted to show her my little Flagstaff life since I moved here. Even though they were only here for a couple of days, we managed to squeeze in tons of delicious foodie experiences, a foggy trip to the Grand Canyon (we couldn’t see anything!!!) and a snow-adventure on the top of the mountain. They let me take some adorable shots of the two of them and it made my life. 🙂
Monica was REALLY excited to be in the snow… and to share it with her adorable bf of 5 months!
Thanks Monica for getting a picture of Sam and I 🙂
