We’re pretty much been going non stop since the girls got out of school Thursday afternoon. Pickleball, parades, parties, pool, oh my! Now it’s already Monday afternoon and days away from spring break and April is almost here which means it’s basically summer. 😵‍💫

I actually don’t have words for once 😭🥰 O

One year ago today I found out I was pregnant with the little girl we never knew we needed.

I feel like I have lived a thousand lifetimes since then.

I was so sick for months and months during the pregnancy, never really hitting the “easy point.” It was probably the darkest and hardest time of my life and honestly I hid it really well which maybe made it harder.

Then I was diagnosed with cholestasis for the 3rd time and had a lot of scary doctors appointments.

I was induced at 37 weeks and had a 32 hour labor so difficult I thought I was going to die. (That’s a story I never told on here but it includes a misplaced foley, intense pitocin contractions, an epidural falling out and doctors ignoring me, and her getting stuck in my pelvis 😵‍💫)

Then suddenly I had Lennon in my arms and everything was so much better. The 9 months I “lost” while pregnant suddenly didn’t matter so much because she and I survived.

Cut to 4 weeks later and our sweet newborn gets RSV and is hospitalized for a week.

We come out of that together stronger and with more clarity on what’s important in life than every before. Since the moment we left I feel like everything has come together and we are finally, FINALLY living our best days together.

As much as the last year was hard and scary, I’m so grateful for it because I will never be the same person again.

And now I get to be a mom to the most amazing THREE little girls and I could have never imagined something so wonderful in my wildest dreams.
